Article: " All in a day's work for men in blue " - 'HOME' Section

Question 1 : What are some reasons stated in the article why some members of the public call the police for ?
- Car Accident
- Young teenagers illegal gambling .
- thief / murder .


Question 2 : Do you see the job of a policeman as something easy or tough ? why ?

Policeman is a tough and dangerous job . They had to chased after criminals and prevent crime from happening again . Therefore chasing criminals is a dangerous job as usually the criminals will be armed with weapons like : Knife , gun . So they had to protect themself . Sometimes policeman can be easy too because not everyday have criminals to catch or crime to solve . So they can rest for those days too .

(b) Would you consider becoming a policeman or policewoman in future ? why yes or why not ?
No , i would not . As Because Policeman is not a easy or comfortable job to do . They had chase after criminals and solve crimes . It's like wasting our times that we can spend with our love one and family .

Article : " Ink Corporated - "IN" Section (Pg8 - 9)

Question 1:
What are some reasons stated in the article why some people choose to have body art like tattoos or piercings done on parts of their body.

- They wanted to be different and not lot of people have done it
- It is a means through which they express themselves and stand out from the crowd .
- if they are part of sub-group , they will want to comform to them .

Question 2:
(a) What are some imppressions you would form of a person whose body is covered with tattoo?
They are usually GANGSTER because tattoo is a sign of coolness for them . But it is totally not cool for us . It is has alot of bad impression to the public . i dont really like to hang out with them or make friends with them .

(b)would you consider getting a tattoo in future ? Why ?
nope . it only helps u to look cool but it have it's own harmful points . Example , when the skin is manipulated , blood vessels and nerves may be damaged . Even the technique is clean , there is always a risk , such as bacterial infection .

Question 1 · What are some consequences which a girl might face for engaging in casual sex?

- she might get prengnant because they have sex .

- getting Sexual Transmitted Infections ( STIs ) from their partner .

- she had to stop schooling .


Question 2:What are some of your reactions after reading this article? If one day, a close friend of yours confess to you that he/she has been engaging in sex, what would your advice to him/her be?

i am shocked after reading this articles . As because many teenagers are having sex underage , which is a crime . if one day my friend tell me that she/he had been engaging in sex , i would tell him that it is illegal and you will be caught if the police know about it . i would warned him not to do it again as it might cause her partner to be preganant . If she is pregnant he had to pay for it and he must send to court . he will either jail for 5yrs or fine $10 000 .

"Tuition Crazy" article

Question 1: State any two reasons mentioned by students why extra tuition was necessary.

- Teachers go too fast during lesson as it is unable for the students to understand what they teach .

- It is hard to get teachers in school to answer questions as they usually busy .


Question 2: Do you think it is necessary for you to have tuition? Why?

I think it is necessary. Sometimes in class we cannot concentrate as it is very noisy and we are just too tired as we need to wake up early in the morning . It is good to have tuition for those slow learner as they usually cannot catch up during lesson . So tuition can help them study and learn at their own pace . Sometimes teachers teach so fast and we couldnt catch up with it , so we can ask out tuition teachers for help . But therefore nowaday tuition is very expensive !!!
