1a) What are some of the earliest signs mentioned in the article to indicate that a person is addicted to gaming?
The signs mentioned is skipping meals and play over night without sleeping . Eventually, the temptation was to skip school and to skip meals , to play computer game . This addiction is a bad influence as it waste precious time and it will also harm the person body as they skip meals . They will talk about game all the time and also begin to imagine things.

1b) State some of the methods listed by the author to overcome the addiction to gaming.

Some of the them method are they had to get their parent to lock up the computer. This take them three month to break the habit. Another method was to be more socialise more. Talking to thire friends in school about the hot guy who had just moved into my neighbour make a different.

2) What are some of your reactions after reading this article? If a close friend of yours confesses to you that he/she is addicted to online games, what would your advice to him/her be?

Article: “Mum’s catching up with me … on Facebook”– ‘Home’ Section (Pg B2)

1) What were the reasons given by Facebook parent, Rashida Husian, when she requests access to the networking sites and also to what her children had put online?

Her main reason was to keep in touch with her children who is not at home . Using Facebook can help her get to know how is her children or what happened to her children . It is also because it is very useful to track of her children . Facebook is also free of charge to communicate with peoples rather than using handphone which cost alot .

2) Do you think it is a good idea to accept requests by your parents to add them readily to your friends’ list on the Facebook ? Why ?

It is a good idea to accept the requests by my parent . This can help them communicate with us anytime and anywhere and it is also free of charge . But also i will be very careful of what pictures or things that i had post online as my parent could read them or see them . Adding them in Facebook can also let them know about my independent life . So that they will be relief if they read my facebook everyday .

Question one:(a)According to Mr Pang, what can school do to make lessons like Physics and Mathematics more interesting to students and relevant to engineering as a career?
School can make physics and mathematics more interesting by showing them how Physics and Mathematics are applied. example : animation . If the lesson is interesting , students will automatic engage with it , and so they will absorb what teacher had teach .

b)According to MP Lee Bee Wah, what will happen to society if there are no engineers?
According to her , she said that if there are no engineers in the society, there will be no technological progresses and advancement . This led to slow society progess .

Question two:Do you think that 'Creators' will suceed in their misson? Why? Why not? Explain giving your reasons.
i believe it can be happened if the lesson is interesting . Students will only focus on interesting and fun lessons but if the lesson is boring , i think that half of the class will be sleeping . Physics and Mathematic are a dry subject so it mean that lesson must be fill with joy so that students can absorb it .

Article: “Sorry guys, these lots are not for you” – ‘Home’ Section (Pg B1)

Question 1:What were some of the reasons cited in the article why there was a need to have parking lots for women only in these buildings?
-Some women would have to take care of her younger sons or their parents .
-it makes women more convenient and less tiring if the women had to carry heavy loads .
-this will make ladies save more time .

Question 2:(a) In your opinion, do you think it is necessary to allocate parking lots for women only? Why?
Yes i think it is necessary to allocate parking lots for women only . As women are usually shoppers which means they had to carry heavy loads . So this parking lots only for women will spend lesser time for them to theirs cars . This parking lots will also help those prenant women to walk less to their car , and will help them spend lesser time finding a lots too .

(b)Which group of people do you then feel should be allocated such priority parking? Explain.
I think this priority parking lots should give to those peoples who are disability , pregnant or the elders . This will allow them to get to their destination quicker and safer .
